Houseboat Tariff

Kerala houseboat tariff varies according to the different factors. Most of the houseboat bookings are done in offline reservation method. There are numerous houseboat booking offices found on backwater location. Alleppey, Kumarakom , Cochin and Kollam are the most favorite places of tourists. There are different houseboat packages that tourist can select according to their needs. 

Houseboat Tariff according to the classification of houseboats

Most of the houseboats in Kerala are classified into Deluxe Houseboats, Premium Houseboat and Luxury Houseboat 

Deluxe houseboat: The deluxe houseboat tariff increases when the number of room increases. There are one bedroom to seven bedroom houseboats available in the backwaters. Tariff rates differ for AC and Non-Ac deluxe houseboats. The check in time of the deluxe houseboat is 11: 30 Am and check out will be 9:30 am next day. For AC deluxe houseboat the operation of AC will be from 8 Pm to 6 PM the food served are welcome drink, traditional Kerala lunch in the noon, evening tea with snacks, dinner and breakfast (next day).  Guest can prefer Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian foods and are provide by the houseboat. Child rate will be charged extra. 

Premium Houseboats: This is the second category houseboat available in the backwaters of Kerala. Most of the premium boats are air-conditioned houseboats; you can operate it when even it needs. The houseboat tariff differs when the number of rooms in the houseboat increases. The check in time will be 11:30 Am and check out will be 9:30Amin the next morning. The foods served in the premium houseboat are welcome drink, traditional Kerala lunch, evening tea with snacks, dinner and breakfast (next morning). Vegetarian and non- vegetarian food are served in the houseboat. Some houseboat serves even Jain food and Chinese food. Child rate will be charged extra. 

Luxury Houseboat:  Luxury houseboats are the most expensive houseboat in the backwaters of Kerala. The well furnished house provides all modern facilities and amenities to the guests. There are some luxury houseboats having bath tub and Jacuzzi. You will provide full time AC in the luxury houseboat. The check in time will be 11:30 Am and check out will be 9:30 am next day. The foods served in luxury houseboat are welcome drink, traditional Kerala lunch, evening tea with snacks, dinner and breakfast.  Vegetarian and non- vegetarian food are served in the houseboat. Child rate will be charged extra.

Houseboat tariff varies in duration

Kerala Houseboat are available for a single day cruising and for multiple day cruising. The day cruising duration will be 3 to 6 hours. For day cruising the house boat tariff will be calculated hourly basis.  You can have an overnight houseboat cruising to 14 day houseboat cruising. The houseboat tariff varies accordingly.
